Bought this as recommended to restore a vintage Leather Coach bag. Soaked the bag in dawn + water, then stuffed it with towels to dry & shape it to its original form. While the bags was still slightly wet, I applied a tiny dab of the cleaner & rub it to the leather, buffed it with shoe brush. What a transformation ! Leather is softer, shinier ! I will buy this again but this jar will last forever ! Free shipping !I own a small automotive business, and bought a used couch for the waiting area at Goodwill about 15 years ago. This year I saw a video about restoring leather on a couch. I did some research, and found this product. I saw their instruction and their video and gave it a try.The couch was faded extremely and felt hard and stiff. So I have gone slow and methodically. The leather that has been conditioned, is very soft now, doesn't feel like hard vinyl anymore. It has also gotten a rich camel color.Very impressed. The product is a bit fluid so it's hard to spread evenly. But I still highly recommend it!Ordered from an adv. which pictured the original container. Sent was a smaller and changed container.Contents are still the best. This has been used on leather phone cases, shoes, sandals and pocketbooks. Using my fingers, I gently rubbed the leather cleaner into leather items. In each case, the leather became cleaner and slightly softer.I used this on a pair of 30 year old Naot sandals which were never treated and were starting to dry out and crack. The improvement was amazing.I will buy this again! This is BY FAR the best product to use on leather. Saddles, boots, reins, headstalls....etc. In receiving new leather tack, I immediately put this on to soften the leather. It brings out the rich color of natural leather, and makes it buttery soft. I’m 100 percent sold! I just need it to come in a bigger tub. I use it on my saddles to clean after each ride. A little dab will do the trick. My old boots look terrific, my new boots broke in easier. I have used this on all my leather purses. I cannot say enough good things about this product. American Made, smells good, not sticky. I will be buying more than one container next time!!This stuff is magic. Seriously. I use it on all my Harley gear, boots, and used it on a whole couch.Yep.Found a free leather couch on OfferUp, but the leather was super dry, cracked and flaky. Used about half a can on the couch altogether, and everyone thought I’d spend a couple grand on a nice Italian leather couch. It’s a dang comfy couch, but now it looks pristine and is stupid soft. I tell everyone I know about this stuff, because it works. The picture was taken a year after the first application. We live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot up here. The leather conditioner definitely helps keep my leathers in good shape during wet season (about 8 months of rain straight rain) After 4 years of using this conditioner, there’s no way I’d use anything else. You’ll be glad you bought some. This is a really nice produce. We have a dog that loves my leather chair and foot stool. It doesn’t take long for our pooch to dirty both up with mud and who knows what. If you follow the directions properly, paper towels will lift all those contaminates with ease leaving the leather clean and supple. Again, this is a very nice product.I purchased the product after someone online told me about a process of restoring old saddles. Their process used a leather CPR product to clean and this product to preserve. I recommend following directions indicating to apply sparingly. When it comes to removing the product residue, you understand why. I applied too much and used a car buffer to remove. A horsehair brush works fine with a little patience. Another solution is a heat gun or hair dryer to "cook" the excess into the leather. To avoid waste, I use a microfiber cloth or old nylon sock to apply that prevents absorption into the cloth. I would not use it on leather products where rigidity and pressed molds were used (ie. gun holsters). Interestingly, I discovered an old solid leather brand name tool belt buried under garden tools and purchased in 1983. It restored it to a near new condition almost 33 years later. For smooth black leather, I found it left a slight haze, but resisted water better. A military parade gloss may be out of scope for this product.
